When pre-booking you can choose an entry time that suits you and once you’re at the Museum you can stay as long as you like! Please note that the last entry time to the Museum is 2 hours before closing time.

The Museum is a registered charity and we encourage our visitors to purchase a Gift Aid admission ticket to further support the Museum. Standard prices are shown in brackets above.

Gift Aid includes a voluntary donation to the Museum, which enables us to claim an extra 25% from the Government on the total amount that you pay (if you are a UK taxpayer).

 

  • Admission to the Museum includes our daytime events and activities, unless otherwise stated.
  • Daytime events which are marked as ‘ticketed’ require pre-booking will be listed separately under events on our ticketing pages.
  • Open air theatre events are outside our Museum standard opening hours, they do not include daytime entry to the Museum. These are pre-book tickets only, find out more here

By Road

The Museum can be reached via the A286 Chichester to Midhurst road. The postcode is PO18 0EU. There is a free car park and disabled parking spaces are available opposite the Museum shop.

By Bus

Catch the Stagecoach 60 service, which runs between Chichester Cathedral and Midhurst – the Museum is a 5-minute walk from the Grooms Yard stop in Singleton.

Buses run every 30 minutes Monday – Saturday. On Sundays buses run every hour. For an up-to-date timetable visit the Stagecoach website

By Train

The Museum is 7 miles from Chichester rail station and 15 miles from Haslemere station. Visit the National Rail website for trains and timetable information.
