Having transitioned from a career in the Army into building surveying I developed an interest in old buildings that I wanted to take further. The MSc programme at the Weald and Downland is structured to enable students to study alongside their day jobs and I am loving the opportunity that I am being given to study alongside such an enthusiastic and varied cohort of students, all learning from truly skilled and knowledgeable conservation practitioners. It’s the perfect environment for a building geek like me.
